Also the bottled water are stored in a humid atmosphere which can lead to growth of bacteria inside sometimes. As the water is stored in plastic bottles and exposed to sunlight during the transportation, the water can indeed become unfit whereas we can very easily consume the RO water in our homes free from any such issues.

·         Effect on the environment
As we know that plastic is a a non-biodegradable substance which does not decompose and mix up with the soil. The bottled water after their use are thrown here and there in the surroundings which is a major concern for the environment. On the other hand, the RO water has no such problems related to it. In fact the waste hard water which it generates can be utilised for many household tasks.

·         Authencity of bottled water
There is always a fear of consuming the bottled water and that relates to its authenticity. There are many cases where the disposed bottles are recycled and filled up with the unfiltered water and sold at many places. Thus, it is always safe to carry our water while we are traveling or out.

·         Taste differences
The RO purified water has a unique sweet kind of a taste which is always the same whereas we may notice differences in taste of bottled water which is again not a good sign about the quality of water being bottled.

Therefore, it is always better to use the RO purified water at homes than consuming the bottled water for a better assurance of quality, keeping us safe from certain health hazards and taking a  big step towards a cleaner and green environment.
